Sacred Literature for Blind People

The Blind Women and Children Association of Georgia in partnership with The Children and Youth Development Fund implemented two projects in 2013-2014, publishing classic literature in Braille and giving it to school children free of charge. The aims of the project were to create an adaptive environment for blind and visually impaired people, as well as to increase the quality of their independence and promote their education and development.

The project published 63,000 Braille pages of literature and more than 100 blind people are reading the published literature.
